SharoWIPES 652 is the simplest formulation in the SharoWIPES platform, utilizing a streamlined two-component INCI to deliver high-performance protection. By omitting Levulinic Acid (found in the 650 variant), it offers a cleaner ingredient list while maintaining the dual protection mechanism: safeguarding both the liquid lotion and the non-woven fabric fibers. It leverages the inherently hydrophilic nature of its components to prevent preservative migration into the fabric.

Performance & Balanced MIC Profile

  • Superior Anti-Mold Activity: Features a significantly more balanced profile than the 650 variant, with A. brasiliensis MIC values at half the concentration required by the 650 variant.
  • Zinc-Driven Biofilm Defense: Leverages zinc ions to disrupt the protective biofilm matrix that bacteria typically form on non-woven fibers.
  • Challenge Test Success: Passed USP/EP Category 1 in a nonionic wet wipe formulation (pH 5.5) on a 20% viscose / 80% PET fabric blend.
  • Rapid Kill Rate: Bacteria were reduced to <10 cfu/g by Day 7–14, with all fungal counts meeting Category 1 criteria by Day 28.
