Hinoline® C

Hinoline® C is a patented, 100% natural antimicrobial and anti-ageing composition based on a synergistic blend of Hinokitiol and Levulinic Acid. Hinokitiol is sustainably extracted from the sawdust of the Japanese Aomori Hiba tree (Thujopsis dolobrata), while Levulinic Acid is obtained via the fermentation of sugar cane. This unique combination offers a potent “clean beauty” solution that bridges the gap between high-performance preservation and skin benefits.

  • Proven Microbial Synergy: Demonstrates a validated synergistic effect with Synergy Index (SI) values below 1 (Kull equation) against all five ISO 11930 challenge organisms (E. coli, S. aureus, P. aeruginosa, C. albicans, and A. brasiliensis).

  • Three-Level Anti-Ageing: * MMP Inhibition: Inhibits Matrix Metalloproteinases (specifically UVB-induced MMP-1 and MMP-3), protecting the skin’s structural matrix.

    • Enzymatic Antioxidant Boost: Stimulates SOD and Catalase enzymes to neutralize oxidative stress.

    • Anti-Inflammatory: Inhibits pro-inflammatory cytokines, reducing the cellular signals that lead to premature ageing.
