Nipaguard® SCL (INCI: Sorbitan Caprylate, Potassium Sorbate, Capryloyl/Caproyl Methyl Glucamide) is a high-performance, naturally derived liquid preservative blend. This synergistic system is designed to provide a robust, broad-spectrum protection. By combining the antifungal power of Potassium Sorbate with a natural derived Sorbitan Caprylate and a mild sugar-derived solubilizer Methyl Glucamide, it offers a stabilized, easy-to-use solution for “preservative-free” claims.

Formulation Guidelines
- pH Deependent: As a system based on Potassium Sorbate, the efficacy is strictly pH-dependent. The final formulation must be adjusted to pH below the maximum recommended range the to convert the sorbate into its active, undissociated acid form.
- Solubility: Relatively low water solubility; it is best pre-dispersed or added to systems with existing emulsifiers or surfactants.
