Formulation Guidelines
- pH dependent: Although supplied as a salt, its antimicrobial efficacy is still pH-dependent. In the final formulation, the pH must be adjusted withint the recommended range. This shifts the equilibrium to the active, undissociated p-Anisic acid form within the matrix.
