Advanced Wetting & Co-Emulsification: It lowers surface tension at the oil-water interface. This enables the formation of smaller, more stable droplets with reduced mechanical energy input during the emulsification process.

Pigment Dispersion: In color cosmetics and mineral sunscreens, it wets the surface of solid particles to create more homogeneous, finely dispersed mineral pigment dispersions.

Formulation Guidelines

Physical State & Processing: Supplied as a white waxy solid (melting point ~35°C). It should be gently heated to 40°C – 50°C to liquefy before use. It can be added to either the oil phase or the water phase before emulsification.
