Leucidal® SF Complete

Leucidal® SF Complete is a broad-spectrum natural antimicrobial designed for formulators who need to avoid salicylate-containing ingredients. It combines two advanced peptide technologies: Bacteriocins produced by Lactobacillus and Lipopeptides derived from the fermentation of Coconut flesh. This patent-pending system provides a robust defense against bacteria, yeast, and mould in a single, water-soluble liquid.

Key Features & Technical Benefits

  • Salicylate-Free Assurance: Unlike Leucidal® Liquid (which contains radish-derived salicylates), this version uses a specific Lactobacillus ferment to achieve efficacy without salicylate residues.

  • Enhanced Peptide Release: Employs Lysozyme during the manufacturing process to facilitate controlled cell lysis, maximizing the bio-availability of antimicrobial peptides.

  • Proven Skin Hydration: In vivo studies show that a 2.0% inclusion level significantly improves moisture levels in a cream base over 4 weeks compared to a base cream alone.

  • Broad Processing Window: Heat stable up to X and effective across a wide pH range. Register to find out
